Phantom FM replacement TXFM announce new schedule
TXFM, THE SUCCESSOR of now-defunct Phantom 105.2, has announced the schedule for the station’s re-brand.
The weekday line-up is anchored by former Phantom presenters including Cathal Funge who will take the 7am breakfast slot, Claire Beck in at 11am, Joe Donnelly at 3pm and Kelly-Anne Byrne will host a regular 7pm slot.
New faces include music blogger Nialler 9 taking a Thursday night slot, Gavin Glass on Tuesdays while Phantom veteran Derek Byrne returns with an electronic show on Friday nights.
Weekends include an arts, culture events show from Totally Dublin, the Bodytonic crew, a desert downloads with Nadine O’regan, an Irish language with Orlagh Donnelly, and sports with Paul and Johnny.
TXFM’s launch comes with the demise of alternative station Phantom after it was rebranded and integrated into the Today FM resources.
Broadcasting starts on Monday, March 31 at 8am with its new breakfast show, hosted by Cathal Funge.
