Typo of the Day: Austerity hits Ireland's budget for World Food Programme
TIMES ARE HARD, we must tighten our belts and recognise that we can no longer spend beyond our means.
Unfortunately that means that Ireland is giving just £18 to the United Nations World Food Programme or nearly that amount according to the Irish World, an Irish community newspaper in Britain, which has this unfortunate typo:
Luckily it was just a typo and Ireland is in fact giving €21 million to the WFP, as we reported last week.
