No, us neither. United Biscuits (who make all the McVitie’s treats) are bringing back the Trio bar after it was discontinued 13 years ago.
Metro reports that a successful Facebook campaign led to the biscuit bosses sitting up and taking note.
What made us sit up and take note though was the mention of ‘United’ and ‘bar’ in the same sentence. We thought for one brief magical moment that this beloved eighties treat was making a comeback:
It was a delicious piece of biscuit covered in thick milk chocolate, with a honeycomb-like crispy layer. They came in multipacks and often showed up in packed lunches (if you were lucky).
