University Challenge contestant amazes Paxman with ridiculously fast answer

It’s simple modular arithmetic, actually.

IT’S NOT EASY to stump Jeremy Paxman, but this week Hugh Binnie from Oxford’s Magdalen College managed it.

He even managed to throw minor shade on the terrifying presenter, shrugging off the ease at which he applied a bit of “modular arithmetic”.
