US tourist 'photographed image of Jesus' on Irish cliffs
A TOURIST from San Francisco claims she captured an image of Jesus while photographing the Cliffs of Moher, Co Clare on a recent trip to Ireland.
Sandra Clifford, 42, told Irish Central that she spotted the image while visiting the cliffs with a friend earlier this month and that they then both photographed it.
She said she asked a number of other visitors to the site that day if they could also see the outline and that they had admitted they could see it too.
Teresa O’Flaherty of Gus O’Connor’s pub in nearby Doolin said that she believed it was “very definitely an image of Christ” after being showed the image by Clifford. O’Flaherty subsequently went to the cliffs and confirmed that she too saw the outlined image.

Numerous sightings of images of religious figures are reported annually around the world. The Christian Post recently reported sightings of an image of Jesus in a knot of wood, on a screen door, and on a Nintendo bought on eBay.
The Cliffs of Moher was recently shortlisted as one of 28 sites for the New7Wonders of the World project, but yesterday it emerged that the Co Clare coastal site had not made it into the final seven.
