There's an official term for group selfies now: 'usie'

People don’t care for it.

TODAY, AP BROKE the news that there is a term to describe group selfies now.

An usie. As in, “Hey lads, let’s take an usie!”

AP also reports that there are other variations on the same word, including “twofie,” which describes a photo of two people and a “threefie,” which describes a photo of three people.

Although the term ‘usie’ has reportedly being in use since as far back as April 2013, it hasn’t really caught on and judging by some reactions to the AP story on Twitter, it seems unlikely to.

We’ll stick with group selfie for now, thanks.
