VIDEO: Hitchcock's 'Rear Window' courtyard is brought to life

Full set of 1954 classic is condensed into three minute footage.

JAMES STEWART passed his time spying on his neighbours in Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘Rear Window’. Have you ever wondered what the courtyard he stared out on looked like in full in the movie?

Well now you can see. Videographer Jess Desom has pieced together the scenes from this classic 1954 movie, where Jeffries, played by Stewart, was confined to starring out the window for the summer after breaking his leg.  Desom states that he essentially “stitched it back together” using special effects like After Effects, Photoshop and coffee.

The effect is pieced together into a three minute video showing the Greenwich Village courtyard in all its glory.
