EARLIER, WE WERE looking for pictures of veteran broadcaster and journalist Vincent Browne to accompany this story and we stumbled upon this gem from the archives.

It’s Browne in his younger days not making politicians sweat profusely or causing mischief at Troika press conferences, but enjoying a nice ice cream outside Burgerland in his days as the editor of the Sunday Tribune and Magill magazine.

We’re not sure when this was taken but if you can shed any light on it please do let us know in the comments:
