AMERICAN WOMAN TAELOR Beeck has had quite a week.

She works as a waitress in a restaurant called Zombie Burger in Iowa, which has become the centre of a viral news story thanks to some ignorant customers.

Taelor was finishing up her tables during the week when she went to collect a bill – but there was no tip with it.

Instead, there was a note about her appearance

It read:

Tips are only for normal looking people.

The local news station picked up the story, and the ridiculous note has since gone viral online.

It’s pretty much assumed they were passing comment on her hair colour and her choice of piercings – which is getting ridiculed left, right and centre

She told the station:

At first I felt really upset. I felt attacked. I felt like I was in middle school all over again, like being bullied.

But she decided not to release the names of the customers because that would just be continuing the hate:

I didn’t act on it because it’s not worth it when someone puts hate out there, you know to respond in a hateful way will do no good.

Taelor took the high road on this one, spread a positive message and comes out of it looking pretty well to boot.
