Diner complains about cockroach in his food, so waitress eats it

Well that’s one way to destroy the evidence.

A WAITRESS IN China ate a cockroach a customer found in his salad to prove it was nothing to worry about.

Zhang Yen was eating at the Jinsha Era Plaza hotel restaurant in the western city of Chengdu in China when he found the small bug in his salad. His waitress Jin Kuo nonsensed the complaint, telling him that such a discovery was common and there was nothing to worry about.

No matter which restaurant you go to, you will always find cockroaches in the food. It is very normal.

Yen sarcastically asked if she’d be into eating the bug, so she tucked in. Yen still paid the bill, but left disgusted while a fellow diner caught it all on video.

The restaurant apologised and gave Jin a pay cut to punish her, saying the cockroach had probably crawled into the dish while it was being cooked.
