The Waterford man famous for his prank notices has gone global overnight

The world loves it.

LAST YEAR, A Waterford man who goes by the name of Sir Michael on Twitter went viral with his hilarious prank notices around the city.

As part of his regular gas antics on Twitter, he has kept up such excellent work – and near the end of January he posted this urgent plea to the people of Waterford:

Even though that was over two weeks ago, it has taken that long for the rest of the world to get on board with the tale of piano woe.

Overnight, it hit the front page of Reddit and Imgur, garnering over a million views in just eight hours

The comments lauded such a subtle sales technique:

This is a genius way to sell candles.

And his dedication to Hansen:

If you can memorize the lyrics to MMM Bop, you can play a symphony.

Keep up the good work, Michael.
