9 ways everyone broke school uniform rules

Rebels. The lot of us.

1. Not tucking your shirt was perfectly acceptable

Tuck your shirt into your skirt or trousers? No way, that’s for squares.

2. And turning up your shirt collar was a necessity

Just like young Niall here.

3. You didn’t leave the house until you had your skirt rolled up to a passable length

Sure, it might have looked like you were smuggling something under your jumper thanks to how bunchy your skirt was after rolling it eight times.

But at least it wasn’t down to your ankles, right?

4. You thought you were the first person ever to come up with thumb holes

Holes for your thumbs? Genius.

Why has nobody ever thought of this before?

5. And adorning your jumper with badges of your favourite bands was a necessity

YOUR LOVE FOR NIRVANA HAD TO BE EXPRESSED AT ALL TIMES.

6. You tried your best to wear a hoodie at all times

And claimed that you were freeeeezing whenever the teacher politely asked you to take if off.

7. And you tried to sneakily sport a hat in class

The “I’m cold!” defense may have been employed here as well.

8. Showing up to PE in wholly inappropriate footwear was a regular occurrence

And maintaining to your PE teacher that you can definitely run in them.

9. And if you were a real rebel? You most definitely rocked the wrong-coloured tights or socks

Living on the edge indeed.

Just call us The Fonz.
