Stay inside, lads. Outside isn't worth it
IT WAS ONLY last weekend that we dared to bare the legs and indulge in our first 99 of the year.
But the gods of the Irish weather have decided that summer is not quite ready to stay just yet.
Met Éireann has issued a weather warning (just a mild, yellow one) for Cork, Kerry and Waterford. Those in the three Munster counties should expect those heavy and thundery showers to continue. The heaviest rainfall of up to 40mm will be seen along the coast.
Neither Connacht nor Leinster have got off lightly though. Longer spells of rain are predicted for the areas. Strong winds will also persist through the day.
We think Des sums it up nicely here.
