Here's what happened when everyone on Twitter watched Elf together
IN YOUR FACE, SKY.
After the broadcaster announced it had acquired exclusive rights to show Elf this Christmas season, Guardian journalist Stuart Heritage organised a mass Elf DVD view-along for 3pm on Sunday, December 8th. He encouraged everyone who was tuning in to tweet along with the hashtag,#elfalong.
According to Stuart, the idea was so popular that people organised Elf viewings in village halls, and director Jon Favreau even threw a couple of #elfalong tweets his way.
