WE’VE ALREADY SEEN Irish Rail climb aboard the centenary bandwagon with their €19.16 seat offer earlier this week.

And now the SuperValu in the Cork town of Castletownbere is getting in on the act.

It was spotted today by Ben Donohoe, and the offer lasts for exactly one week – appropriate enough given the centenary celebrations are starting around the country tomorrow.

Is there anything more patriotic than purchasing a bottle of Paddy whiskey for the princely sum of €19.16 on Easter weekend? Buy it with pride, everyone.
