IF IT’S EASY, then it won’t be worth it. That’s the motto that a woman named Courtney took when pursuing a missed connection she met in a bar just before Christmas.
Instead of simply taking to Craigslist, Courtney took a larger approach to finding a man she spent hours chatting to on a night out with her friends. Devastated that the pair failed to exchange numbers Courtney called a search party for the mystery man.
She put out a call for ‘Ben’ to get in touch by covering Old Town Alexandria, North Virginia in ‘missing person’ posters.
Ben (from the Light Horse). I made the wrong choice on Dec. 23rd. Call me! Courtney
Speaking to WTTG Fox 5 Local, Courtney said that the response so far has been nothing but good:
I’ve had a very positive response, a lot of positive phone calls, a lot of positive voice mails, and very positive text messages saying, I really hope you find him, good luck.
Not ignoring the online community, Courtney also created a Twitter account along with the hashtag #findben to bring the early-to-mid thirties chap out from hiding.
Presumably the poor lad was morto, and eventually emerged from the woodwork. Courtney tweeted some good news before shutting down her account.
To respect Ben’s privacy, I won’t be taking any more interviews. Thank you everyone for the support in my quest to #FindBen!!!
Happy endings.
