Woman plunges blocked toilet, pulls out 5ft boa constrictor

Not ideal.

A CALIFORNIA WOMAN went to investigate a backed-up toilet at her office only to discover a 5-foot boa constrictor, just chilling in the U-bend.

San Diego PR executive Stephanie Lacsa went at the blocked toilet with a plunger, which appeared to work until she discovered the problem quite literally had a life of its own.

She told KGTV:

I thought my eyes were deceiving me. But as soon as I saw the flicker of its tongue, I definitely knew what it was, in fact, a large snake heading straight towards me.

“As soon as I saw the flicker of its tongue”. Nooooope.

Like any sane person would do, Lacsa immediately fled the bathroom and taped the door shut. San Diego Animal Control eventually captured the snake, which was identified as a “nippy” Colombian rainbow boa.

Lacsa’s colleague, Holly Wells, said that despite the scare they hope the snake finds a new home – on one condition:

I hope that the owners of that home know how to keep their toilet seat lids down.

A blockbuster movie based on the incident and starring Samuel L Jackson is expected to be announced any day now.
