The 35-year-old had tried the door of the house at around 5am Saturday morning. Finding it locked, she tried to climb down the chimney of the house in Los Angeles suburb Riverside – taking off her clothes to ease her passage.
Her former partner Tony Hernandez was awoken by her cries for help, CBS LA reports.

Hernandez told KABC:
He said the woman was his former partner and the mother of his three children, but does not live in the house.
Firefighters had to punch a hole in the brickwork of the chimney breast to rescue the woman. She suffered minor injuries but is expected to recover fully.
