WE MIGHT CRY. Look at his little face!
Police in Danvers, Massachusetts thanked the Public Works for assisting them in the rescue of an unfortunate woodchuck who got his head stuck in a sewer grate.
The woodchuck was found by a woman walking her dogs in the area and called the police to come to his aid.
A foreman from the Department of Public Works, John Barbieri, told Salem News.
His face was partway up through the storm drain grate. We popped the grate with a pick and we moved it to the side of the road.
Once removed and placed on the grass, the woodchuck was able to free itself and took off into the woods as seen in this horrible quality video.
Some thanks. Such a fate he was saved from.
