The X-Files might be coming back to telly, with Mulder and Scully
THE CREATORS OF the nineties mega hit The X-Files are not only in talks to bring it back, they’re also in talks to bring back Mulder and Scully.
Deadline reports that Fox TV have been looking at the ‘logisitics’ of bringing the show back.
The series, which ran from 1993 to 2002 also spawned two films; one in 1998 and another in 2008.
Deadline reports that any potential reboot will star David Duchovy and Gillian Anderson.
Anderson is credited with invigorating an online fan campaign to bring back The-X Files. In an interview with Nerdist she said she would be “f**king overjoyed” with a reboot.
The #XFiles2015 hashtag has been tirelessly campaigning for a return, and now it seems that Fox TV has listened.
