It'll be grand, sure it's Sunday. Unless Sunday's the new Monday. Oh. alarm clock via Shutterstock

The Burning Question*: Does the week start on Sunday or Monday?

Let TheJournal.ie distract you from the ‘serious’ news with one of life’s REAL dilemmas. (*not really)

WE KNOW HOW you feel. It’s Monday, you have the whole week looming ahead, and you have a lot on your plate.

So do like we do here in TheJournal.ie HQ and get stuck into a serious debate on one of life’s most pressing issues.

Possibly.

This week: TheJournal.ie reader Aline Dejaegher emailed us with this gem: Does the week start on Monday or Sunday?

As Aline explains: “Some calendars have Sunday first, some have Monday, but really, the weekend includes Sunday, right? So technically the week should start on Monday. Or am I being too logical about this?”

Help a sister out. Does the week start on Sunday or Monday?

Poll Results:

B - Monday (3406)
C - Time is but a social construct and I refuse to conform (3111)
A - Sunday (780)
