JOSIE CUNNINGHAM is a model from Leeds who has carved out a career in the UK’s celebrity magazine and reality TV industry.

She first shot to fame after undergoing a breast enlargement worth a reported £4,800 on Britain’s NHS, saying that she was being bullied for her small chest. Her Twitter bio is now “UK’s most controversial boobs”.

Currently carrying a baby, she hit headlines again recently when she said that she planned to terminate the pregnancy to go on Big Brother, then changed her mind.

And yesterday she revealed that she would be selling tickets to the birth of her child. To watch it, live, in her house.

Cunningham told Closer magazine that she “wanted to share the precious experience”, adding:

I’ve had a bit of interest already. I’m selling two tickets at £5k each and two at £10k, which are VIP. All tickets will include travel and accommodation and the pricier ones will entitle the ticket holder to film the birth and take photos.

She said she plans to use the money to pay back the NHS, and spend the rest on her children. The move comes after a reported deal to sell DVDs of the birth in pound shops fell through.

All the tickets have now been sold, according to Cunningham:

One fan reported to have bought a ticket, Paul Mills-Ash, told Closer:

It’s a lot of money but it’s worth it. It’ll be great to say I was at the birth in years to come.”

The move has sparked fierce discussion online, with many Twitter users calling her an attention-seeker, or worse.
