What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday

Here’s what will be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Dara and Ed’s Great Big Adventure (BBC2, 8pm)

Dara O’Briain and Ed Byrne’s massive trip across America comes to a close tonight as the pair explores Panama. They stop to visit a rural tribe in a village only accessible by river, get ceremonial tattoos, and get to the last town on the map, Yaviza.

Mamma Mia (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

Come for the timeless songs and Meryl Streep, stay for Pierce Brosnan’s woeful singing. This film adaptation of the popular musical is high cheese, and we bloody well love it.

Hannibal (Sky Living, 10pm)

So Hannibal has been cancelled. Boo NBC, boo. But we still have the rest of the third and final season to finish out before we say goodbye – tonight, Will shows up at Castle Lecter in Lithuania in the hopes of finding out more about Hannibal’s past. #hannibal

Everyone’s talking about: Graham Norton

The Graham Norton Show - London PA WIRE PA WIRE

The Graham Norton Show is the light of our Friday evenings, so it’s sad to hear that Graham has plans to wrap it all up before he’s 60 (he’s 52 now, by the way).

Speaking to BBC Radio 2, Graham said:

The thing nobody wants to do is the inching backwards, where you’re going, “Yes, the cast of TOWIE can come on.” I’m not jumping tomorrow but it is in my head.

Bear in mind, he’s been hosting some chat show or other for almost 20 years. Woah.
