A BBC journalist was harassed on the street while reporting on street harassment...

Slow clap.

BBC JOURNALIST SARAH Teale gave us all an unfortunate lesson in irony when she was reporting on the sexual harassment of women.

The BBC East Midlands Today reporter was filmed in Nottingham explaining how a study found 95 percent of people said they had been harassed, either jeered at or had obscenities shouted at them in the street.

A man is then heard shout something in her direction, which is bleeped out by the station. Teale motions at the man, saying “Yeah, like that”.

She pointed out the irony on Twitter, in case it wasn’t clear enough already…
