SOLAS ON WEXFORD Street closed in April after 13 years as a landmark on Dublin’s bar scene.
And it’s now being replaced by a new outlet called The Jar, due to open next week.
The new bar has completely refurbished the multi-floor building, which is currently in the final stages of construction according to photos posted on Facebook.
It promises a new beer menu with a combination of “old favourites, new loves and a couple of adventurous unknowns.”
Strangely, the bar already has 21 five-star reviews on Facebook, despite not having opened its doors yet.
We’ll bring you more details as soon as they’re available – but the owners plan to open after the weekend.
