The Killers praised a Kerryman who sang Mr Brightside in tribute to his late friend

Amazing.

LAST WEEK, LOCALS at Falvey’s Bar in Killorglin, Co Kerry, gathered together to pay tribute to the late Ger Farmer Foley.

Led by one man in particular, Brian O’Sullivan, they bellowed out a passionate rendition of Mr Brightside that went insanely viral.

Not only has the video been covered globally from Croatia, France, to the States – The Killers themselves reached out to the gang, with a job offer.

Speaking on the Anton Savage Show this morning, Brian said he has been ‘in hiding’ after the video went viral over the weekend, but it was a fitting tribute to his late friend.

Ger died at 45 at Cork University hospital last week, he battled cystic fibrosis his whole life. Brian hopes his new found fame will raise awareness of the disease and encourage people to carry donor cards.
