Here's what Twitter had to say about 2fm's brand new breakfast show

The Irish public had rather varied opinions about Jennifer Maguire, Bernard O’Shea and Keith Walsh’s take on breakfast radio.

2FM’S BRAND NEW breakfast line-up took the airwaves for the first time this morning.

Jennifer Maguire, Bernard O’Shea and Keith Walsh were up at the crack of dawn to host Breakfast Republic and the nation woke with them to see what they’d do with the new slot.

It all kicked off in the early hours with the lads limbering up for the task ahead.

There was considerable excitement among loyal fans who’d been waiting to hear the show since the night before.

And a fair few listeners woke up to a bit of a surprise.

A large number were absolutely delighted with what the new line-up had to offer.

Others found themselves excited but a little unsure.

It’s safe to say that not everybody was convinced by 2fm’s new venture though, with quite a few not holding back when it came to the criticism.
