IT’S BEEN A good and a bad day for the Labour TD for Galway West, Derek Nolan.
He has had the pleasure of President Michael D Higgins visiting his old school in Mervue, Galway but unfortunately the autocorrect function on his phone has referred to Higgins as, er, ‘Michael D Virgins’:
Nolan commented that it was a “strange mix of memories”. Indeed.
A short time later the red-faced Labourite tweeted: “Major auto~spell error! #embarrassed”
