People have twigged something after seeing A Quiet Place, and now they're asking questions
IF YOU HAVE yet to see the wonder that is A Quiet Place, we’d suggest you stop reading now and go book yourself a ticket.
While there aren’t so many twists in the film that you’re likely to encounter a huge number of spoilers online, it’s worth immersing yourself in the experience before Twitter commentary dilutes it somewhat.
So, consider yourself warned.
Now, for the rest of you who have already spent an hour and a half with your heart in your mouth, and your hand hovering over a bucket of popcorn only for it to be left uneaten, this latest Twitter chat is for you.

So, remember when John Krasinski’s character brought his son fishing, and taught him that the normal life-or-death rules didn’t apply when in the vicinity of the water?
In other words, they could scream as loud as they liked because the sound of the waterfall would drown them out, and ultimately protect them from the predators?
Well, with the benefit of hindsight, cinema-goers are now asking why the family didn’t set up home as close to the waterfall as possible, or at the very least ensure that Emily Blunt’s character gave birth beneath it.

Other people, however, are having none of this suggestion, reminding Twitter users that the family would need to, you know, make noise in order to re-root themselves.

And while that probably helped clarify the situation for any doubters out there, this guy had to come along and throw a real spanner in the works.

Seriously though, he has a point, right?
The predators are drawn to noise and the waterfall provides it.
Excuse us while we take a moment to ponder that one…
