A US remake of... Love/Hate?

But who would play Nidge, Darren and the lads from the criminal underworld?

WE COULD ALL be seeing a US version of Ireland’s favourite Irish crime drama, Love/Hate, very soon.

A spokesperson for RTÉ told TheJournal.ie that the series has been “optioned by a US sales agent who will now pitch it to US broadcasters to see if there’s any interest in developing it there”.

After its season three finale was viewed by nearly one million people, Love/Hate started to garner more attention across the Atlantic.

While we all wait with bated breath to find out will a US version be aired or not, a fourth season of the show will begin filming in the spring here.
