Adele went and got ordained so she could marry Alan Carr and his long-term partner

We need a word with our mates.

FOR ANYONE WHO might not be in the know, Adele and Alan Carr go way back.

And such is the extent of their friendship, Adele actually got ordained in order to marry Alan and his long-time partner, Paul Drayton, at the start of the year.

And she didn’t stop there.

According to Alan, Adele actually organised the whole shebang, provided her garden as the venue, and kept schtum about the entire thing until Alan decided to reveal the details to fans and followers.

Appearing on This Morning, Alan confirmed that Adele played an absolute blinder.

We got married in Adele’s back garden in LA. She’s known me and Paul for ages, and she said ‘I want to do your special day, let me do everything.’  She even got ordained and she married us.

And it genuinely sounds like Alan was beyond emosh when reflecting on the work Adele put into his and Paul’s big day.

She is the kindest, most sweetest, loveliest person ever. She did the whole day. It was the best day of my life.

Aware that Adele isn’t one for revealing too much of her personal life with her followers, Alan said he wanted to take the reins on this one.

I want to tell everyone because she won’t say because she is so private – she just planned it all and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Following Alan’s appearance on This Morning, Adele took to Instagram and confirmed that she had indeed married her two friends.

And she did it in the greatest ensemble known to man.

In a post which was uploaded this afternoon, Adele has amassed more than 600,000 likes.

Seeing as the cats out the bag. I married two of my best friends in January. You know me any excuse to dress up.

More of this, please.
