Adele announces her first pregnancy

GRAMMY AWARD-WINNING singer Adele has announced that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki.

The 24-year-old wrote on her website today that she is delighted about the pregnancy.

“I wanted you to hear the news direct from me,” she said to her fans, “obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time.”

As fans rushed to her website for more details this evening, it crashed due to capacity problems.

The soul singer hasn’t revealed her due date or if she will continue to work on her music in the coming months.
