ACCORDING TO REPORTS this morning, RTE newscaster Aengus MacGrianna is getting hitched.  He’s been dating his partner, Terry Gill, for over 10 years and they’ve decided to take the plunge.

Aengus stormed into our hearts earlier this year with this incredible “on the air unaware” moment.

You’d have to wonder if his reaction to Terry popping the question was anything similar.

Aengus is shortly to appear on RTE’s Celebrity Masterchef series, alongside other Irish celebrities such as athlete David Gillick and Ronan Keating’s ex-wife Yvonne Keating.

Writer and broadcaster Maia Dunphy is also set to appear on the show, and had these well wishes for the couple:
