YOU MIGHT REMEMBER the rather epic Twitter war of words between Aer Lingus and Air New Zealand during the week ahead of the rugby.
It ended with a small wager between the two national airlines:
The cabin crew would wear the colours of the opposing team depending on who lost
And unfortunately Ireland couldn’t repeat the success of Chicago last night.
So a ceremonial jersey swap took place in the Aviva after the match
And the gesture was well received
We might have fought hard on the pitch, but we can both be sound off it
We’d still prefer the green, but a bet’s a bet.
