THIS IS GERMAN AIR hostess Olivia Sievers and her dog, Rubio.
Sievers first saw Rubio outside the hotel she was staying at in Buenos Aires six months ago – she gave him some food, and from that moment on he was smitten.
Speaking to Noticiero Trece, Sievers said that the dog waited for her every night, despite her attempts to shake him off:
I tried to change my way as I didn’t want him to follow me to the hotel but it was not possible, he always watched me and followed me.
Every time she came back to Buenos Aires, Rubio was there, and she began chronicling their meetings on Facebook.
Eventually, Sievers arranged for him to be re-homed – but he ran away, finding his way back to the hotel again.
Six months later, after falling in love with the pooch, she decided to bring him back home to Germany with her.
Rubio arrived in Frankfurt last week, and has been having a wonderful time with his new family (which includes two other pups):
Bless. Congrats Olivia and Rubio!
