This €5 Aldi cleanser is being hailed as a dupe for the cult Liz Earle one
ALDI’S LACURA skincare range has proved time and again to be just as good as its more expensive counterparts – and it’s just done it again with this new face wash.
Aldi Aldi
Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser has been a cult favourite amongst beauty bloggers and skincare nerds for years.
The idea is that you take the time to massage the creamy cleanser into your face and neck, before ‘polishing’ it off with a mildly exfoliating muslin cloth.
It’s a lovely cleanser, but at €19, it’s not exactly budget friendly.
Step up Aldi, who have come out with a hot cloth cleanser that performs just as well as the Liz Earle one at a quarter of the price, according to early reviews.
Get The Gloss says that the cleansers “smell and feel identical” and contain the same ingredients – rosemary, chamomile, cocoa butter and eucalyptus oil.
Plus, observe the logos on the two tubes:
Aldi / Liz Earle Aldi / Liz Earle / Liz Earle
They’re not even trying to hide it. But if it works, it works…
The cleanser is €4.99 and comes with muslin cloths – it’s available in store right now, but judging by the buzz it’s receiving, you’d want to act fast to get your hands on it. Race you to the health and beauty aisle!
