A few days ago, it was announced that Alec Baldwin would take on the role of Bruce Wayne’s father in the upcoming Joker movie.
According to Hollywood Reporter, shooting is set to begin in two weeks. Despite the short notice, Alec Baldwin has suddenly decided to drop out of the movie, after learning that his character, Thomas Wayne, is a “cheesy and tanned businessman who is more in the mould of a 1980s Donald Trump”.
The 60-year-old actor told USA Today “I’m no longer doing that movie.” First he cited scheduling issues, but later he took to Twitter to write “That is not happening. Not. Happening.”
Must be sick of dressing up as Trump for SNL. (NME)
Loose Women Loose Women
Loose Women received more than 400 Ofcom complaints after the drama that ensued when Kim Woodburn and Coleen Nolan were supposed to drop their feud and move on.
The Kim and Aggie star was invited onto Loose Women in the hopes of reconciling the ongoing hostility between the two women that began during Celebrity Big Brother, and according to Metro.co.uk, 448 people complained about the way Kim Woodburn was treated by the panel. Kim told the audience:
Eventually, Coleen began to call Kim a “horrible, self-centred, publicity-seeking witch.” Other members of the panel began to call Kim talentless and eventually she got fed up and decided to walk off. Rightly so, considering it was four (and God knows how many in the audience) against one.
Loose Women defended their decision to bring Kim on the show by saying that “Kim becoming upset was never the intention and the panel did endeavour to comfort her. She was offered counselling after the show, which she declined.” (Metro)

An America’s Got Talent Contestant brought Simon Cowell to tears with his performance this week.
During the quarter finals of the show, singer Michael Ketterer (who got Simon’s Golden Buzzer during his audition), sang ‘Us’ by James Bay and the judges were quite shaken afterwards.
Host Tyra Banks approached Simon Cowell for his opinion on Michael’s performance, and Simon asked her to come back to him in a minute when he had gotten himself together. Tyra refused and said “No! I’m not going to come back. I know you’re emotional and I want you to talk through it.”
Tyra told Simon, “Let it out Simon, it’s okay”, before telling Cowell that it’s “beautiful” to see his “vulnerability” and saying that most people do not know that Simon Cowell is “a big soft papa.”
And the rest of the day’s dirt…
