ABOUT A YEAR ago, a woman named Amethyst Realm was invited onto ITV’s chat-show This Morning to talk about her relationship with ghosts.

Amethyst said that it all started twelve years ago, when her human fiance was travelling for work very often. She started to feel a presence in the house while she was lonely, and one evening she went to bed and when she was falling asleep, the ghost in her house began to have sex with her. So, Amethyst began her affair with the ghost and was eventually caught by her fiance. 

He came home from work a day early and apparently, he says he saw the shape of a man through the spare room window when he pulled up. 

At first it sounded like a really bad cover-up about a human-on-human affair that has gotten completely out of hand, but for the last thirteen years, Amethyst has maintained that she has had sex with more than 20 different ghosts. She returned to This Morning a couple of months later to tell Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby that she had joined the mile high club with one of her ghost partners. 

For the last nine months, Amethyst has had a sexual relationship with that very ghost who helped her join the mile high club. Last weekend, Amethyst and the ghost went to see the Wookey Hole Caves in Somerset and apparently, the ghost was feeling a bit romantic thanks to all of the spooky Halloween festivities. Amethyst told The Sun that midway through the tour her ghost boyfriend suggested that they hang back from the tour group.

That’s when it happened. There was no going down on one knee – he doesn’t have knees. But for the first time, I heard him speak. It’s hard to explain but, until that point, his words were inside my head. But on that day, the words were outside. I could actually hear his voice and it was beautiful. Deep, sexy and real.

They haven’t picked out a ring yet, but Amethyst is leaving it up to her partner to decide what type of ring they get. They also haven’t made any solid wedding plans yet, but Amethyst is hoping for “quite a big do.” The wedding photographer is going to need a lot of patience for the groom’s family and friends. 

Rather than having a traditional wedding ceremony, they plan on having a ‘handfasting’ ceremony, as Amethyst told Phillip and Holly in her last appearance on This Morning. This is a neopagan ritual that is seen as longer spiritual commitment than marriage, which is just as well because according to one medium that Amethyst spoke to, she has been with this ghost in three previous lifetimes. You won’t find love like that on Tinder.
