Amy Huberman met Beckham at Wimbledon and he "smells like success" ... It's The Dredge

Get a big whiff.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

Your pal and mine Amy Huberman had quite the weekend. She went to Wimbledon, met David Beckham, smelled David Beckham and deduced that he “smells like fresh cut grass and success”.

Oh, hang on actually, forget Beckham, she also met Strictly Come Dancing legend Anton Du Bec.

Her Beckham meeting top, incidentally, is from Folkster. It’s sold out. Set up some kind of Google alert for when it comes back in.

By now you must all have had a collective breakfast puke over the latest Tom Hiddleston/Taylor Swift PDA. In case you missed it they frolicked with Swift’s squad at a Fourth of July party at her Rhode Island home yesterday.

We’re guessing there was an Instagram ban on any of the squad posting pics, because there is a frankly rude dearth of candid shots of Kendall, Gigi, Blake and co.

Well, there’s this one from Taylor’s best friend Britany which we can positively identify as being taken in Swift’s garden, but it could be anywhere. Thanks for nothing Britany.

Katy Perry has hit the 90 million followers milestone on Twitter. Ninety. Million. Followers.

That’s 279 times the population of Iceland. (Shoutout to everyone in Iceland. We love you).

Perry has celebrated by, er, not tweeting for two days. Although her last tweet was about examining one of those blackhead clearing strips so she is still coming up with that #quality #content.

And the rest of the day’s celebrity dirt…

  • Niall Horan’s friend auditioned for X Factor (Goss.ie
  • Lady Gaga got her driver’s licence (Vanity Fair)
  • Rob Kardashian has insisted that Blac Chyna didn’t get pregnant to spite his family. Precious, precious memories (3AM)
  • Jennifer Garner at Paris Fashion Week… with Bradley Cooper (People)
