Amy Huberman has been spilling some tea on the royals after meeting Prince Harry last week

Harry was worried she’d gatecrashed his wedding.

WHO KNEW THAT Amy Huberman would be the holder of so many British Royal family stories?

Well, she did say herself that she has notions.

Last week, Amy attended a reception at the British Embassy to honour Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, alongside invited guests such as husband Brian O’Driscoll and fellow actress and comedian Aisling Bea.

By her own account, she played it reeeeeeal cool.

She recalled that for a second Harry was concerned that she’d gatecrashed his wedding. One of the Embassy guests introduced Amy to Prince Harry by saying ‘she was at the wedding’, referring to Kate and Will’s 2011 nuptials.

I had to explain it was not their wedding as I could see him looking a little concerned and thinking ‘But I don’t know you’.

Harry and Meghan’s wedding was a decidedly more private affair with a mere 600 guests, compared to 1,900 for Kate and William.

Amy also explained how she ended up attending the wedding of Kate and William on her tobler:

Brian and I had both been invited [to the wedding]. The squad had ended up going into the Heineken Cup Semi Finals so he couldn’t go. He was like, ‘you should go.’ So I did on my own. I was terrified. I would rather go and be terrified than regret not going

That takes some serious ovaries to rock up to the Royal freaking wedding on your own.

Those who attended the wedding were gifted a slice of the cake and amazingly Amy hasn’t eaten hers:

I still have their cake in the freezer, so every time on a night out I have to remind myself not to eat it.

Suppose if her and BOD ever need a few spare bob they can sell it on e-bay.
