A Wicklow animal shelter posted a heartbreaking plea for a little pup waiting to be adopted for 7 years

“Angel’ s dream home would be one with another dog… to show her that the world is not so scary.” OUR HEARTS.

ASH ANIMAL RESCUE is an animal shelter based in Rathdangan, Co. Wicklow.

It’s been on the go since 1990 and has been responsible for rehousing hundreds of unwanted pets. Yesterday, the organisation posted a photo of a dog named Angel, who has been in their care for seven years now.

“It has been Angel’s 7th summer in Ash,” they wrote. “Despite many appeals nobody came forward to meet our beautiful girl.”

We know our Angel is a bit shy but she will shine at home. We are sure of that. Angel is a beautiful, gentle soul. She is a lovely girl, good with other dogs who loves cuddles and short walks. When she gain trust, she loves unconditionally. Angel is medium size jack russell/beagle cross.

Look at her.

They added that Angel would love nothing more than to be housed in a home with another doggy pal “to show her that the world is not so scary”.

OUR HEARTS.

Angel’ s dream home would be one with another dog to keep her company and to show her that the world is not so scary. Angel loves small areas so she would be good to live in an apartment or a small home with secure fencing.

They ended their post with a plea for people to give little Angel a chance.

Why not to come and meet our Angel and give her a chance? Will that year will be her lucky one?

The post has received hundreds of likes and people are now emotionally invested in Angel finding a forever home.

Our hearts. We can’t cope.

If you think you can give Angel a home, note that ASH Animal Rescue is open to the visiting public every day from 2pm – 5pm except on Fridays.
