PREGNANCY IS DIFFERENT for every woman; with some sailing through the nine-month journey and others experiencing every obstacle that is to be found along the way.
Hugely open about the issue, Vogue Williams has revealed that she has experienced an upsurge in her anxiety since becoming pregnant.
The 32-year-old, who is in a relationship with Spencer Matthews, spoke to Closer magazine, and explained that her anxiety disorder has intensified somewhat in recent months.
I get quite bad anxiety and it’s come back a bit while I’ve been pregnant.
While Vogue has coping mechanisms in place to deal with her anxiety levels, she says she can’t pinpoint a particular trigger.
I don’t know why I have it – it’s just general life anxiety. If I knew what it was about, that would be the first step in getting rid of it. But exercise keeps that in check and makes you feel better about yourself. It’s more under control now than it has been in the past.
Vogue’s documentary on anxiety which aired in October last year gave the public a snapshot into the disorder she has suffered from since the age of 20.
It’s a nightmare, when you’re alone in your own head. I’m just upset. I’m so fed up of feeling like this.
The star, who announced in March that she was four months pregnant, is looking to the future, telling the publication she and Spencer intend to tie the knot.
We always wanted to have a baby before a wedding and obviously right now the baby is the priority. But I’m excited about getting married. It will probably be next year and we want a big party.
