ANYONE WHO FREQUENTS the M1 knows that the Applegreens north of Dublin are the gold standard of motorway service stations.
Showers, Burger King and a full children’s play area are just some of the glories you’ll find inside.
And now it’s been revealed that the €88.5 million Euromillions ticket was sold there.
So this morning they lowered their petrol and diesel prices to 88.5c to celebrate (as long as stocks last)
And predictably the queues have got a little bit longer
Stretching as far back as the eye can see
Maybe they’re all just there to chance their arm on tonight’s Euromillions?
Anyone who regularly stops in the shop have had their phones buzzing like mad this morning
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
There’s a bit of fanfare in the store itself too
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
Balloons!
It’s unknown how long the fuel will last, but Euromillions mania will certainly continue all the way through the weekend and beyond.
