Lindsay Lohan had a slightly salty response to being left out of Ariana Grande's new video
SO, YOU MIGHT have seen Ariana Grande teasing the music video to end all music videos on her social feed over the last few weeks.
The video for ‘thank u, next’, is due imminently, and it takes inspiration from classic teen movies such as Bring It On, Legally Blonde and Mean Girls. How fetch!
She even managed to rope in Jonathan Bennett, the actor who originally played Aaron Samuels in the latter, to play himself in the video.
One person she seemingly didn’t get to come on board was Lindsay Lohan, who originally played Cady Heron. (Although, some media outlets mistakenly thought it was her in the photos. Ooops.)
Yeah, that’s not Lindz on the left – it’s Dynasty star Elizabeth Gillies. Awks.
Anyway, Lindsay’s weighed in on being left out on Instagram, which is how she tends to exclusively communicate this weather.
Take from that what you will. Some people in the comments called her “butthurt”, others were more concerned as to why she’s not in Lifesize 2. One issue at a time, people!
Let’s not let this escalate in to a real life Mean Girls, mind. We’re sure Lindsay’s invite just got lost in the mail. It’s that time of year, after all.
