Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have reportedly called off their engagement... it's The Dredge
EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.
And just like that, it’s all over.
After a whirlwind romance – which is media talk for “they’re together a wet week” – Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have split, calling off their recent engagement.
The couple ended their four-month engagement over the weekend, sources have told TMZ, with both parties saying it simply “wasn’t the right time for them”. Pete’s also since gotten his bunny ear tattoo – which he got in tribute to Ariana – covered up.
The pair announced their surprise engagement earlier this year in May – just a few weeks after they were reported to be just casually dating.
Apparently, the pair aren’t ruling out rekindling the romance down the line, so maybe the €100k engagement ring won’t go to waste. (TMZ)

Apparently, Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood is fuming that Sean(n) Walsh and Katya Jones survived the weekend’s elimination.
The choreographer, 53, who has allegedly branded the pair the ‘Terrible Two’ after they were pictured kissing last week, was left upset that Katie Piper and Gorka Márquez were sent home instead.
The professional stars were also reportedly annoyed that Katya and Seann got a specialist choreographer for their Charleston, which scored them an impressive 28 points and a fifth place position on the leaderboard.
A show source told The Sun: ‘There was a lot of anger backstage on Saturday. The feeling from the professionals and judges was that Seann and Katya deserved to go — but they weren’t even in the bottom two.
“Craig told guests how dismayed he was that the “Terrible Two”, as he calls them, were given another chance,” the source said.

Finally, Adele went to see Drake in concert the other day and seems to have had a whale of a time.
After the gig, Adele took to Twitter to share her thoughts on Drake’s performance. “Oiii Champagne Papi blew my mind tonight! Best production I’ve ever seen hands down and way up there with one of my favourite shows of all time. Huge love.”
Drake was delighted with the reaction, as you would be.
On Instagram, Drake said: “Oiiiiiii don’t fucking get me gassed right now I love this woman and she came to the show.
Fair, tbh. (NME)
