Trinity students put their studies on "paws" to pet adorable puppies today

The TCD Students’ Union organised a “canine therapy” room in the college today.

TODAY, THE STUDENTS of Trinity College Dublin put down their study books and grabbed a cuddly puppy instead.

The university’s eagerly awaited “canine therapy” session took place today in the old SU Bookshop on campus, with scores of students queueing up to shake off exam stress and pet some cute dogs.

Students could spend 10-15 minutes with the doggies in return for a small donation to the charity Peata Ireland, who provided the therapy dogs for the session.

The charity has been working to bring animal companionship to people in caring institutions around the country since 1996.

We are unutterably jealous. But we are petting cute puppies vicariously through you, Trinity students. So pet well.
