HERE’S A LESSON in knowing when to stop – after being arrested, one US thief decided to prank police by ordering pizzas to the station.
According to local Kansas station WKYT News, Michael Harp (29) was picked up by police for shoplifting beer from a convenience store.
While he was being booked at the station, he asked if he could make a call on his mobile phone.
Police say he used his phone call to ring up a local Domino’s and order five pizzas to be delivered to the station, under the name of the officer that arrested him.
The stunt earned Harp additional charges including theft of identity, theft by deception, and impersonating a police officer.
He’s not too impressed with the extra charges and believes he’s wrongly accused, telling WKYT:
I mean it’s a joke, truthfully. I mean…pizzas, come on. It’s a high schooler’s joke.
Never joke about pizza, Michael. Never.
