BOB’S BURGERS WRITER Wendy Molyneux Drake HATES Entourage, the comedy-drama series about a young actor and his, er, entourage.
The one thing she hates more than Entourage, though? Pediatric cancers.
So she set up a GoFundMe page and told Bob’s Burgers fans that if they helped her raise $10,000 for children’s cancer, she’d go and see the new Entourage movie - a film she has decided will be “the worst movie of the year and possibly our lifetime”.
And the fans were only too happy to oblige. In just one day, the donations shot past Molyneux Drake’s initial target of $10,000.
At the time of writing, the donations total $15,418, and Molyneux Drake has informed us of another chilling development:
Thanks to all of the terrible people I know and a bunch of awful strangers I’ve NEVER EVEN MET WHO CARE ABOUT CHILDREN’S CANCER. If for some reason this goes all the way to $20k I am going to have to see this movie twice. TWICE. This is a mess.
Yes. If this foolish generosity continues, she will have to see the movie a second time.
“Screw all of you and your goddamned BIG HEARTS. You are the worst,” she continued.
Yeah internet, look what you’ve done. A woman will have to sit through up to four hours of Ari Gold all because you wanted to donate to cancer. Sheesh.
