THREE TEENAGERS WHO were in a car accident say their lives were saved thanks to light-up wristbands they received earlier that evening at a Taylor Swift concert.
WBRZ reports that three young women were in a car accident on their way home from the singer’s concert in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, when the driver fell asleep the wheel and crashed the car.
The group were trapped in the car and no passing cars stopped.
Two of the girls then had a eureka moment and started waving their light-up wristbands, which were programmed and synced to the beat of Swift’s music, to catch the attention of passing cars.
A man and a woman then stopped to help and the group were all rescued. The driver remains in hospital, but is expected to be released soon.
Responding to the incident, Swift described it as “unreal” and said she was grateful they were okay.
