After a slow start, the fifth season is finally picking up. Tonight is the famed ninth episode of the season – known by fans as the one episode in which sh** is bound to go down. Once again, the show takes a dark turn away from the books. #gameofthrones
In A House That Ceased To Be (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)
In this documentary, children’s rights campaigner Christina Noble tries to reunite her own family, torn apart after years of abuse in Ireland’s orphanages. Tough but essential viewing.
Love Island (ITV2, 9pm)
The ’00s dating show returned to our tellies last night and judging by the Twitter reaction, it’s looking like the ultimate guilty pleasure watch. The islanders were introduced last night – tune in this evening to see sparks (or insults) fly. #loveisland
Everybody’s talking about: Big Brother
Specifically Tallafornia Marc, who’s been causing trouble ever since he entered the house last weekend.
He’s up for eviction this week after calling his fellow housemates ‘a***lickers’, getting his lad out at every opportunity, and telling Sam Kay she had a ‘fanny like a bag’. Absolutely charming.
Despite all this, The Star reports that he’s the favourite to win the thing. God save us all.
